In the southeastern part of the Pannonian plain, in Banat, there is Europe’s largest continental sandstone. In order to bind the sand in the Deliblat sandbar, the so-called “European Sahara”, it had to be reforested. The first reforestation was in 1818, during the reign of Maria Theresa. Even then, it was assessed that this soil is suitable for vineyards and orchards. Today, they spread on that ground. The House of Winds is located in Devojački Bunar and houses the Lazar Distilleries, where the most beautiful and high-quality Serbian fruits become, in a natural and artisanal way, a symphony of flavors and aromas of Lazar brandy. The feature of this picnic area is the beautiful, untouched nature, preserved just an hour’s drive from Belgrade.

Our fruit brandies are produced in the traditional way, by double distillation, from carefully selected fruits. Crystal clear, natural and delicate, they are intended for hedonists with refined taste. The unique, recognizable and refined aromas of our top quality drinks are summarized in a bottle of Lazar brandy.
